ok, is it just me, or is Alberta slowly turning itself into a police state?

This weekend we played in penhold on Friday, and then on Saturday, since our Edmonton show was cancelled by the venue due to "unforeseen circumstances" I went to the Hinder/Stained/3 Doors Down Concert at the Saddledome...now, don't worry, im not a big fan of any of these bands, but I had won tickets, and since our show was canceled, decided we may as well go.

thanks to everyone that came out to the fringe festival in winnipeg on saturday, we had a blast. we should be out that way again in September, so keep tuned to the site :)

we're all pretty exhausted, we don't usually go that far for just one show, we drove straight there, played and came straight back...over 3000kms of driving, in a civic hybrid, and a show in 40 hours.

Ok, normally I'm not one to hate
however, I got a call from our booking agent last night, he had been told we had cancelled out on tonights show
this was news to me, we've never cancelled a show
turns out, somebody who obviously isn't a fan, had called the venue and told them we couldn't make it.
how much time do you have on your hands if you can take the time to do that?

anyways, it's all good now, after a few hours of mass confusion.
